Taylor from Evening Shade all grown up

Anyone remember the show Evening Shade from the 90s with Burt Reynolds, Marilu Henner, Charles Durning, Ossie Davis, and Hal Holbrook?

Well the dad on this show played their teenaged son Taylor on that show. It's so hard to believe that Jay Ferguson is now an adult and playing a dad on his own tv show.

Ferguson also had a recurring role on Mad Men playing Stan.

I had a huge crush on JRF when he was on evening shade. I loved that show.

He appeared in Surface, which got cancelled half-season, I think. There he played a scientiest, which is pretty much the exact middle between leaving school and becoming dad.

However, I think he is a bit too young for the kids on this show and would have gotten them at the age of 16 or something like that.
