Do they think we're stupid?

People would really give a crap this one kid is gay? Hell we got people thinking they are gender fluid nowadays....gay is outdated.

reply

Unfortunately, yes in 2016 there are still people out there who would think it's a big deal.

Legislators all across the country are rushing to pass "religious freedom" laws to legalize discrimination against gays. All of the Republican candidates for president are anti-gay. Clearly, we do not live in a time when nobody cares if someone is gay.

reply

Sorry but im gay and my parents wont even acknowledge it. This country isnt as gay friendly as u think

reply

If that's you in your profile photo, I'd acknowledge it all night long, Bae 

Check any social media with religious/republicans (not all) and see if being gay is not an issue today. I'd like to know what city you reside in, in which being gay has been normalized.

reply

You don't know many Catholics do you? Cause my family is Catholic and we have three gays in our expanded family and it is a HUGE deal, both to the family and the parish and church my relatives go to.

Well, when you are a child or a teenager (and children do know they are gay from a very early age) you don't have much choice, do you? You are not independent enough to just not care.

reply

Why do or should the gay people care about what the family the church or parish think? (serious question because I just don't get letting religious people dictate how I think or feel).

CaliBay, I'm glad you ask that question, because you're implying that you are free to think and feel as you wish, yet "religious people" are being antagonized for their thoughts and feelings. It seems "we" are not free to think or feel. In fact, there are strong contenders who wish to ban religious freedom. Therefore you gays must now enjoy the freedom of free speech, free feelings, free thoughts, and the minute a religious person thinks, feels or says something, they are immediately branded as haters, homophobes etc. They are given a label and told what they must do; who they must serve; and some ministers/pastors are even being ordered to marry gay persons even though it's against their beliefs.

So tell me, if you don't want religious people to dictate how you think or feel, is it fair that religious people are being told how to think or feel? And where's the freedom of speech for them (us)? Tell me honestly (as you say you were asking a serious question). And I'm not being rude, just honest, and I trust you will be the same.

Teenage love affairs are about intensity, not longevity

But they are incorporating that in the show on several occasions. Kenny often comes across like "the only gay in the village" and completely stubbles over nobody really being interested. Even the catholics around are kind of "well, so what".
