who's sister is she supposed to be?

I think she is the Dad's sister as the episode with the maternal grandmother she mentioned that Eileen was her only daughter.

I thought she was married to the brother of either Eileen or Pat...not sure.

Jodi is Pat's former sister-in-law. She was married to Pat's brother. They mentioned this in early episodes, that just because Jodi divorced Pat's brother doesn't mean that she's still not family.

She stated again in last night's episode's that she's the ex-wife of Pat's brother.

I personally don't really care how she fits in the show... I'm just glad she's on it... Love her character and I think I've developed a real crush on her.
