Kenny

I canNOT stand him. Does anyone else get "rubbed the wrong way" by him? It doesn't help that the writers bring up his sexuality constantly. Who cares? Gay or straight it shouldn't matter. Everything about him rubs me the wrong way.

I'm still upset about whatever he (the actor) said about Modern Family (I don't remember exactly but basically they aren't as authentically gay as he is!)

I like the older brother and I think it's neat how he looks so much like the father.

Edit: there's a thread about what the actor said about Modern Family and more:

I can't believe that, I never saw it! That kid needs to just go. Not a fan.

Then don't watch the fkg show, it's really that simple. But wishing the star of the show would leave just because you don't like him is ridiculous.

I think he is sort of an annoying twat. I hate his vanity, I hate his shallowness, I hate his optimism. And yet I think it is a fitting portrayal of a character which this way (maybe less satirically overdone) exists in reality, and it makes the show work for me. Especially since his deficits also show. He is not a winner and most episodes end with him being wrong and getting schooled. Which is kind of what most comedies are about - their main character failing on some level.

I love him, personally.

As a perfectionist, I can relate to him on some level.

And I think he's generally a cute character. That he has flaws is more realistic for me than having him be a golden child. All of the shows I love (Always Sunny, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, etc) have characters who you might not feel compelled to route for, but are interesting enough to keep you watching.

He's fun.

I like himy actually. His flaws are generally due to his insecurities. I hope as time goes on he'll mellow out some.
