Why the fark would anyone walk near all that chaos and diease
Is everyone in this show stupid. I take that back, the handyman they found on the roof had it right. He was away from the bullshiat and sick people.

Why do the bad guys think they can steal all the food and sell it - who is going to buy it? If they don't have food or can't find food, they probably don't have a huge amount of money on them to buy it? Do the bad guys take credit cards?

Why did the old woman who can barely walk, decide to try and get something from a high shelf at a time when it could kill her? No ambulance, no doctors... great time to proove your independence!

Because her son and most of the students are safe in the hospital and not in immediate danger.

We did not see everyone starve. Some who did not prepare might begin to panic in fear of running out of food.
