Missed beginning so maybe it was explained. But how is it that the sister can see her? Mainly referring to the locross game where she hugs her. But later it seems she can't when she sees her in the mist air.
Also on some scenes w/ George it looks like he can see her but maybe he's just responding to her voice location.

I think it's like what you figured with George--responding to her voice location. Except for the occasional moment where Molly interacts with an item like the bear suit that temporarily marks where she is standing.
shareShe was invisible the entire time. They just had it where the audience could see her but not the characters. It would be a waste to cast a young upcoming Disney star and not get to see her. Probably following the voice.
