The ladder is not 250 yrs old... neither is the "cross"

Season finale: they stumble upon a wooden ladder...

suspended from a rock wall by at least two extremely large supports (visible in the show)...

which requires a metal (iron?) "sub ladder" added to the bottom...
(that they find nearby)...

...And don't even question that someone else must have recently been there-- (in the past three years or so because the wooden ladder is not rotten and the iron ladder does not fall apart after 250 years)...

not 250 years ago ("Jesuits").

Duh... Hmmm.. a ladder suspended from a cliff-face before they got here... And they (whomever) successfully transported all this material to this almost-unreachable place (according to our ordeals as demonstrated on the show) and successfully erected such a ladder... Hmm...

Is there another, far easier and accessible route to the location (like maybe, from above??????)

And the "cross" on the back wall of the cave looked nothing like "iron" (as one person said). It looked like a concrete-formed object smoothed into a concrete cover-wall. Let me guess: next season starts with someone having a "revelation" that the wall is "false," and if they "break through it" there is a "chamber behind..."

I like watching World at War and World War II in Color, but I would really have more respect for the History Channel/The Military Channel (not "American Heroes Channel") if they would not stoop to insulting my intelligence with this drivel...

Give me shows about history and reality, not "reality" shows. There are plenty of those on other channels.
