Only at the Grindhouse!

Horror movies never seem to want to touch Thanksgiving for some reason. I don't know why. The only two I can think of are a movie from 1987 called Blood Rage and the Grindhouse trailer. There are tons of horror movies for Christmas, Halloween, and even Valentine's Day. Someone needs to make a good Thanksgiving related horror movie.

I'd assume that as Thanksgiving is a purely American holiday, it would be excluded to have more global appeal. The rest of these holidays are celebrated by most of the western world.

I don't know which part of the world you're from nor who told you most of the western world 'celebrates' these holidays. Either you're an American guilty yet again of projecting or you're just another simple-minded Englishman. Why so mealy-mouthed? Thanksgiving is ignored, as I suspect you know perfectly well, because it's English and might get in the way of mandatory Oirland-worship. Strange how America's hyper-sensitivity to 'stereotyping' actually protects the truly privileged of this world [and I don't mean WASPS, a persecuted species for decades], who use it to shut down criticism. I wonder if the need to ensure a free and unimpeded exchange of criminal personnel explains not only the recent tax scandal involving Apple and the influence of ethnic gangs at the highest level of government and Hollywood but also accounts for the absence of an extradition agreement between these two countries? Just a thought. Sorry to put a crimp in your leprechaun suit but looking forward to SPD replacing Christmas. Oh go on. You know you can't wait. :)
