New year's eve

They should've made the New Year's eve segment end in a double homicide. I was alright with her burying the Axe in his skull, but a A better ending would've been as the Axe goes into his head, the hammer of the revolver drops..

That was what I was expecting. So the ending was kind of a surprise lol. I liked it.

That one was my favorite next to Valentines Day

I was hoping for a double homicide, too. It reminded me of the short story Serial by Jack Kilbourn and Blake Crouch. In that story, a serial killer hitchhiker is picked up by another serial killer and they try killing each other. It's pretty awesome.

This segment was interesting - some of the others I really didn't get. My take on New Years is that the man is someone who becomes attached to people but has problems with his gun not going off when he wants it to (erectile dysfunction) and she is a maneater (you thought that was cereal?). Both obviously representing their flaws in relationships. They have a very high match rate because they are both so dysfunctional in relationships and it also raises the question on whether it's good that we seek to find people who are similar to ourselves (including the bad parts) through online dating sites. They both have destructive personalities hence why it all results in a blood bath pretty quickly. I would say the man seems much weaker, the female comes across as experienced in the scene where they are on a date whilst he seems awkward and points out his own insecurities by complimenting her teeth (because his are noticeably brown). This is why I think in the end she gets the outcome she wanted and he doesn't i.e he gets killed because again his gun doesn't go off.

Oh geez, let the woman win, just once. I liked that she beat him, it was unexpected.
