suffered through 2 episodes. thats enough. way too much overacting. feels like I'm watching a play

So true.

I love to be in the mood to watch this. I have a short attention span, but I just settle down. Then, I get absorbed in the story.

It doesn't throw everything and the kitchen sink at you like Empire or cartoonish like Perry's productions.

Essentially, there is no shucking and giving, which I greatly appreciate.

lol yeah because plays are overacted. Everybody knows theatre has educated some of the world's worst actors like Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Glenn Close and Daniel Day-Lewis...
