I can only assume it's a foreign production given Jeunet and Co. but I was curious where it would be airing and if it would be available in the US anytime soon...thanks in advance to anyone with answers!

shareThis is how amazon does new series. They film a single episode and then let Prime users watch and rate. They decide which shows go into full production based on the ratings.
Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.
Ratings are used as a guide but Amazon does use other criteria as well. For example, The Rebels had a higher Prime user rating than Transparent but Transparent went into production and The Rebels didn't. I actually liked the pilot for The Rebels better than the pilot for Transparent but I ended up being very happy with Amazon's production choice.
shareThe problem with this method is that it causes disinterest, as most people have no interest in starting something that for all appearances isn't going to be finished, thus they are killing their own shows through with this most timid approach.
They should probably just leave the production up to companies that have the actual fortitude to commit.
