Disappointed with start of season 2

The chemistry is lacking in this season 2. To start with, Matias Varela has been replaced by a less charismatic Chavez. It's weird and sad. I missed him. Also Kerstin is leading the A-team now and that's an odd choice in my view (and what happened to her beautiful black hair tied up?). Also Viggo is no longer part of the team and he was great in season one. He should've been the new leader if Hultin could not make it. And last but not least, the persian janitor is not there either and his appearances, as weird as they were, were fantastic.
Overall disappointed with this start of season 2.

I missed the 1st series and was not immediately hooked when I watched the start of this one. But I find it's growing on me and I definitely want to watch next weeks episode. Which is a very similar response to Beck now I think about it.

I felt the exact same way when watching 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. The episode just wasn't very good to begin with - very little mystery and research to it - and seems focused on action only. This was not the strenght of the series.

The janitor is obviously missed - he provided some magic to the show which gave it some glow. The new actor for Chavez is too far off from Chavez to convince anyone, I'd say. Whereas Varela was always a cool and laugh-in-the-face of danger, the new guy seems on the verge of crying the whole time. A very bad choice indeed...

The second episode 'Dead mass' was much stronger in that there was research and mystery again. This made it fun to watch. But all in all, this is NOT season 1 quality. A shame!
