In my era the good guys always win

Seems like now the bad guy always wins. I guess that is why there is so much crime going on these days. All of my role models growing up were heros.

Yep! Hated this movie. Woman and her baby murdered and the disgusting old A hole wins out. Surprised they did not show the old creep removing the baby out of her womb! This movie gets a zero rating from me. About through with this "new horror".

I'm pretty sure Claire was the woman locked in the closet and her baby was Junior in the car seat in the landlord's Van.

I bet you use to walk to and from school, uphill both ways too lol. Good gosh, genres change. They adapt. If the good guy always wins then what's the point of watching a movie to the end? Isn't it scarier to think that sometimes the bad guy comes out on top? And to scare is kind of the point of this genre. Also, I can almost 100% gurantee you that the ending of movies has absolutely nothing to do with crime rate lol. Not to mention that crime is way down since the 70s, when the "good guys" won. 24-hour news coverage is just up, so you hear about it more. Rant over lol

I typically hate it when the good guys win.

Predictable
Boring
Does not necessarily reflect society.

The good guys should win but often times that's just not how life works.

They show these type of movies in retirement homes? Weird.

You're surprised that the villain won in a horror movie?

❤️️
Looking at all of the characters, even the wife, I'm not so sure about who the villain really was.
If I was looking at this whole group of people on a monitor, I'd want to protect that baby from all of them!
