I'm undecided about the show overall. I'll give it another chance next week. I felt like I was watching "Vikings" on the History Channel.

I liked it too. And will also keep watching even though at first it was for Maise and Jeannine but I'm hoping the ratings get better as of right now they are flopping like a fish out of water.

I'll keep watching. Good production values, great cast, action, drama and kept me entertained. Not your Sunday school version of biblical events.
shareVery glad to see another swords and sandals style tv show. I hate soaps and other shows based in the present. If I wanted reality I'd have a row with my girlfriend lol. WHen I watch tv I want a different world.
Could do with better character building though it is only one episode so far but apart from that pretty good so far. If the writers aren't that good maybe add more blood and gore to later episodes. If they cant write decent characters the story wont be enough on its own.
I agree. I thought the pilot did a good job setting everything up. I was surprised at how many plot threads it laid out successfully in less than an hour. Loved the reveal of Goliath and I especially like how they're portraying Saul here.
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
