Cancelled already...
That was fast...
shareIndeed
shareNot surprised,it really was awful
shareI think 9 episodes were already produced. What will happen to them? Does anyone know?
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
I heard they will go online sometime in the future but no one knows for sure. This is one of those times I wish network tv was like cable where they at least air the entire season and then cancel the show
"I'd rather lose for what I am than win for what I ain't"
Kacey Musgraves "Pageant Material"
All the work on those episodes will be completed so it can air internationally...
Alright lets get this bull sh!t over with...
-Larry David, Curb Your Enthusiasm
That's funny cause i really loved it !!!!!!!!!!!
shareNever watched it, but damn! You got to give a show a little bit of time to grow.
shareWhatever problems it had, I was enjoying several of the performances, especially Saul. If the episodes are made, they should be made available. Air them at 3 AM and let those interested stay up or record it. If necessary, I'll buy them off Amazon if allowed or even disk.
I want to see David vs. Goliath, David slaying 200 other Philistines in exchange for Michal, Saul`s feud with David, Samuel being a weird mystical jerk to the increasingly troubled Saul before dying and leaving him with only the Witch of Endor for guidance.
And are David and Jonathan a little 'more than friends' in this version as I suspect they were?
I didn't really want it to go on that long (with these actors,it works best as a Saul-centered tragedy, not the "rise of David" that's been done several times) but this is crazy.
Get the poor old king to his final battle and defiant suicide for Dagon`s sake!

I hope everything Reza Aslan touches turns to dust.

It's a TV show, not a charity case. I'm sure they can all find another place of employment as there are so many television productions these days with more financial investment than ever before.
shareWhy is that?
Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?
Aslan knowingly lies about FGM (female genital mutilation). He claims it is an African problem when 90% of Indonesian woman have been mutilated. (He also claims there is gender equality in Indonesia.) He is an apologist for Islamism who greatly exaggerates his own expertise and education.

Look everybody!!! The same "civilized" scumbags who imposed sanctions that killed over half a million babies in Iraq are pretending to care about women's rights by harping on and on about "female genetic circumcision" - what hypocrisy!!!
Well, I do share this sentiment.
shareOf Kings and Prophets is gone. kaput.
From USA Today:
Low TV ratings, a modern phenomenon, have felled ABC's old-world epic, Of Kings and Prophets. The network Thursday canceled the biblical saga after just two episodes. Beyond the Tank, the Shark Tank companion series, will take over Kings' time slot starting Tuesday
Kings' March 8 premiere drew a weak 3.3 million viewers and it dropped to 2.4 million in its second outing this week. The young-adult rating, important to advertisers, was low, too.
Kings, set 1,000 years before the time of Christ, looks at "faith, ambition and betrayal … through the eyes of the battle-weary King Saul (Ray Winstone), the resentful prophet Samuel (Mohammad Bakri) and the resourceful young shepherd David (Olly Rix), with all on a collision course with destiny that will change the world."
Beyond the Tank features expert Sharks following up with entrepreneurs who appeared on Shark Tank. The Sharks are: Billionaire Mark Cuban, owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks; real-estate mogul Barbara Corcoran; “Queen of QVC” Lori Greiner; technology innovator Robert Herjavec; fashion and branding expert Daymond John and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary.
