Why do you care what he is?It is hard to tell with Canadians anyway,they're so mixed it is like a whole world of people inside a nation-sized land.I bet if all original natives would live inside a single house and they would still have rooms to rent out.

Says who?? Even if he ever got a Canadian PR etc long back, he continues to work in Indian movies only, and he is a superstar in India, so what is the problem with that. I mean why is your thread title pointing towards such a trivial point, does'nt make any sense, thats all!

What is the problem? He looks Indian, he speaks the language, he can pass as an Indian. It's a movie, none of these people were actually refugees in Kuwait, they are all actors.

There are lots of Brits and Canadians who play Americans in Hollywood movies. The only thing that matters is whether they are convincing in the role. Why should anyone give a damn which country's passport Akshay holds?

You guys should be happy about it. India's overseas community is a powerful asset to India and spreads Indian influence worldwide (much like the Chinese community does for China).
