Pretty good!
I'm not familiar with any of the books but the movie was good. I particularly liked Kat McNamara's character. She makes a great villain.

Caught this on Netflix, was extremely pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Perfect spooky Halloween flick!
shareYeah good fun for the whole family, I agree. Kinda cheesy at times with the singing/dancing, but it's PG and made for kids so you expect it. Perfect for the halloween season when the young ones are looking for something spooky but not too scary to watch. Gotta love RL Stine, still delivering after all these years.

The dancing at the end was one of my favorite parts. Reminds me of community theatre.
Great Halloweeny costumes and sets.
