Don't get me wrong, I thought Greta Gerwig did a great job, but I kept envisioning Jena Malone in the same role. She would have killed it.

But I'm still creeped out from her role in Neon Demon...

Jena Malone is great, but Gerwig owned that role.

You are absolutely correct. Gerwig is overrated, under-talented, mediocre, and boring to watch. Jena would have been great in the Abbie role, or light years better than that transparent Fanning as Julie.
