I know it's a kind of bird, but it sounds so ugly as a name. Especially on a girl.

There's Apple and Moon Unit and Kal-El (on an Earthling child!?)...

It's from Percy Bysse Shelley's Ode To A Skylark. Don't feel bad, most people don't get that reference.
