Damn. Hope A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix still turns out okay.
If you look at his resume, he's had a better career before WWW than afterwards. Looks like he's never fuily recovered.

He's had his hits and misses but I wouldn't say he's ever sunk to the level of WWW before this one. Big Trouble had its moments, Men in Black 2 was a let down but three was pretty good, RV was pretty lame but I'd take it over WWW any day, at least some things worked in RV( like the late Robin Williams). Then there's the cult favorite Pushing Daisies that he directed The Pilot for and served as an executive producer on(Though most praise for the series should go to Bryan Fuller).

When top notch, grade A acting talents like Sir Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Kline are viewed as poor, when Salma Hayek can't even stand out, and Will Smith can't carry a film to its finish line you know you dun *beep*d up BIG time. But I don't put all the blame on Sonenfeld for that one, I blame most on its producer Jon Peters, watch the documentary The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? The guy is a nut.
