I find it amusing every time I go to the message message for a movie, I notice a "This is the worst movie" post. There's no movie that can make everyone happy.
and I find these posts useless. Someone is trying to get some attention.
I 100% agree with you. Even if we read every blog about The Shawshank Redemption, someone probably posted "This is the worst movie ever".
That drives me crazy.
There have been some movies that I have seen numerous times that have received at 4.9 or lower IMDb rating that I have enjoyed!

Haters don't say "worst movie ever", they say - Worst. Movie. Ever. (more dramatic) Saw the trailer, wondered why big stars would be remotely interested in it other than a paycheck. I knew it was going downhill when in the trailer, one of the cat's lines was "nailed it!"
shareYeah not every movie is for everybody. I ignore the negative comments and judge for myself. When I recommend my favorite movies I say "I personally enjoy it. You watch it and judge for yourself".
