What a terrible intro to Caralo's character

Her first scene, where we are introduced to the character and supposed to get some idea who she is and what she's all about - is an extended talking-heads expository scene in which she's told information we already know. The only new information, SHE already knows, which is her prior relationship with Turner.

Especially given the transition that leads into the scene, you'd expect something far more interesting/spectacular.

Instead it's boring and flat. And I found myself only thinking about the fact that she's inexplicably wearing 4-inch pumps, which struck me as impractical.

Bad writing, man.
