What happened to the main story?

I really like this show but what happened to the whole Jimmy pritcher story arc? I mean someone did kill him and so far it seems like everyone forgot about it.

I thought they caught the guys who killed him.

They did, that was the first case he solved with his son. The bad cops who worked with his son were the robbers which is why he was never able to solve the case. They were obstructing the evidence.

I don't think he's forgotten about it and certainly there's a lot going on that could be sorted in a second season. BUT hasn't James been a bit busy to be going looking for his killers :D
