It is a disappointment, but the show probably never had a chance with Fox. The network bungled it before it even aired.
Would be nice if it could be picked up by Netflix and given a whole season release at a time.
I fell behind after 5 episodes, is it worth watching the rest? Does it end on a cliffhanger or anything?

It ended with an episode that brought closure yet left the story open to further tales. It is worth watching the full season as good, original sci-fi has become rare in television.
If Fox ever advertised the show while it was on, it was likely done during the various other shows on their network that were cancelled for lack of viewership.
I would definitely recommend watching the rest. The final episode is pretty lame, but up until then the character development and storyline are really aces, despite a fair number of continuity errors and, I suspect (I didn't examine it too closely), probably some real plot holes too. Still, it was fun. And not just that, I found myself really caring about the characters, too. Oh and there are a few great reveals that were genuinely surprising.
And one thing even the final episode does have going for it, is that it brings the show to a satisfying conclusion. It was left open for more in case they got renewed, but the story they began with is really well wrapped up.

Well, it's official. We knew anyway, I think, but now we really know.
Oh well. Solid single season, far from perfect but good overall storytelling, and I enjoyed it for what it was and for what we had. Thanks for posting the news.

What is wrong with people at FOX?!! I enjoyed this and is better than a lot of shows that FOX decide to renew!!!
shareI really enjoyed this show, can imagine why it wasn't many peoples cup of tea but I thought it was good. Shame it got cancelled.
Oh and Mary is hot!!!!
