Well, now THAT was a fine how-do-you-do! (Spoilers)

Alexa has emerged as my favourite character as written in this whole series. From her first appearance to her last, she had some excellent writing to work with. The actress did a sterling job, in my humble opinion. Mind you, I can't be the only one who wanted her to give Otto a jolly good thumping when she had him in that vice grip. I am? No, really, am I?

As season/series finales go, this one did not fare poorly at all, and while I always felt there was nothing wrong with Otto that tossing him into the mouth of an active volcano couldn't fix, his option to go sky-diving minus a parachute was just plain GLORIOUS! Well done, Otto!  He finally did something a grateful nation can approve of.

Connor got what he deserved and in an unpredictable fashion. Poor Albert Lin just got to do some Planet of the Apes style above-the-head arm swinging and growling before meeting his grizzly end. I had hoped his character would get a place in the sun, perhaps aiding Duval and Jimmy briefly somehow...

All's well that ends well for Duval and his recently wayward offspring. Meanwhile, Mary manages to be as beautiful as ever no matter what sort of scene she's in.

The finale was open-ended with a healthy amount of closure. If computer Otto's dire warning of inevitable violence is correct, then, theoretically, Alexa should display those traits before Jimmy does. Alas! Now we'll never know.

Farewell, Second Chance. We hardly knew ye.

I absolutely agree. Fantastic ending. Loved Alexa.

Great character progression throughout this show. THIS is how you make a good story!

i loved Alexa too once she started to do the right thing. i know she was definitely conflicted the entire time in betraying Mary/Otto but learning what Otto did to her (he discarded her with no face, etc.?!) and her lover/husband i had a lot of empathy for her.

overall it was a satisfying series finale but i hated the twist(?) where people like Jimmy (and even Alexa?) would become UBER-violent as seen in the fish attack footage.

i also hated how Mary left for god knows how long. that went against everything we had seen/learned in how close Mary & Jimmy were becoming. i can understand Mary bringing Otto's ashes/body back to where they were born/raised but she should have returned (after a reasonable amount of grieving time).

i do love how Jimmy & Alexa were in sync as roommates! i'm very glad Alexa survived!

Not to nitpick because I enjoyed the show but they didn't explain how the company went from the verge of bankruptcy to becoming solvent again. It was a major technological and financial blow when Otto took ,Arthur the brain of Looking Glass, the company's bread and butter offline. Not to mention Looking Glasses criminal liability. How do they fix that? Magic beans?
That's just my two cents.

I don't believe the company became solvent again. The scene at the end had nothing to do with the company and she had money still.
