Cool; post back here when you've had a chance to see it. It really stuck out for me when I was watching the movie, and there's basically four possible explanations:
(1) The filmmaker did this deliberately, to make some sort of point about the nature of fiction and reality;
(2) The filmmaker was just unaware of, or didn't give any thought to, the different locations of sunrise and sunset;
(3) The filmmaker was aware that the sunrise is inaccurately depicted, but just hoped that viewers would not notice;
(4) It's my mistake, not the filmmaker's, and what I'm remembering as a sunrise was in fact a sunset.
I believe that (2) is most likely of these. If anyone confirms in this thread, I'll submit it as a goof to imdb.
