Solid movie.

Great acting, interesting plot, clever use of flashbacks, and surprising twists. Tye Sheridan is definitely an actor to watch. He is compelling and different from the average pretty-boy actor. For me, the movie kind of fell apart at the end a bit, devolving into some leaps of logic, but up until then, it was solid.

It was A+ rock solid! The current rating 6,5 is way too low.

Agree. No idea why it is so under-rated.

Great movie, the acting is top notch all around. Everyone from Emory Cohen down to John Lynch was just spectacular. Awesome job. My favorite quote stems back to the original:

'I turned around to look at her. She was facing straight ahead, so I couldn't see her eyes. She was young - not more than 24. Man, she looked like she had been thrown off the crummiest freight train in the world! Yet in spite of that, I got the impression of beauty, not the beauty of a movie actress, mind you, or the beauty you dream about with your wife, but a natural beauty, a beauty that's almost homely, because it's so real."
