Lou is great in this

Well, would you expect anything different? Good though, that she plays a character who is nice in this, rather than the evil Sarah (Breathe). A star to be sure.

She seems to be an interesting and versatile actress. I know Adèle Haenel was the first choice for the role and I would've loved to see her act opposite the two Agatas, but M.lle de de Laâge was sure a compelling protagonist.

French cinema seems to be propelling a wide array of strong actresses in this age range: it seems to me that there are way more interesting talents in their 20's-30's than in their 30's-40's.

I am a big fan of Adèle too. She would have been great as always in this. But Lou is more than adequate as the second choice, based on your information.

I thought she was a little miscast, looking too young and too pretty for the part. She's a fine actress, and she handled the role well, but there were many moments where she seemed wrong for the part.

Loved what she did with her role in L'Attesa, by the way.

If the criticism of Lou is that she is too pretty - well I agree. With her attractiveness, not the criticism.

L'Attesa is a bit underwhelming. Lou is much better in this.
