I ask because Superstore was renewed and Telenovela was not. I watched Telenovela because the concept looked funnier and I like Eva Longoria more than America Ferrera. So for those who watched both, which did you like more?

My husband and I watched both and agree Superstore was by far the better one. I personally was surprised that Telanov elastic made it a complete season, but again that's just my opinion.
shareMy wife and I just finished Telenovela tonight, and I gotta say that I think it was way better than Superstore. Superstore has some funny moments, but I don't feel like it ever grew the way Telenovela did. Plus, the (supposedly) main character of Superstore makes it tough to fully engage, for me. I'm very surprised that one is returning and the other is not. Seems like both should be brought back.
shareI think Telenovela was WAY BETTER. I watch both because they were on back to back, but this year will not be watching Super Store. I could barely register a smile with Super Store. Telenovela was a great quirkly comedy and Eva is really one of the better comedic actresses to come around in a while.
My thought is the target audience for Super Store was bigger. Telenovela was geared towards Hispanic Females. Telenovela was far superior in my mind. It is a shame it got cancelled.
I just don't see the show that comes after Super Store this fall lasting either. Super Store and it both have different target audiences. I see Super Store targeting the same audience as the Office, but it just wasn't as funny.
