How well did this do?

Don't remember it being released.

Not terribly well, I'm afraid.

Forgive me for using US dollars to describe a UK picture, but that's how the money is reported! In its UK run, it made about $100K and about $150K in New Zealand. I am currently in Sydney Australia where (December 2016) it is still in theaters and has made about $50K thus far. There has been no US release, as far as I can tell.

I haven't seen it, but am thinking of watching it this afternoon. The plot itself, from what I've read, is well-trod territory and I imagine it has little appeal to the 18-30 year old crowd that prefers to see explosions and CGI. My main interest in going is to see Virginia McKenna. I had a bit of a crush on her as a lad and am curious to see how she's getting along.

It took about £50,000 in the UK Cinema in April and May 2016

I expect making it onto shelves in the 2000+ major supermarkets (which only stock new titles supported with advertising, and strong library titles), worse case scenario it sold a minimum of one per store.

In the UK its currently on Netflix UK.

The cast alone will probably get the film a Terrestrial tv screening or two in the next 5 years.

Going by the supporting cast list, this film was probably funded by a financing opportunity similar to Kickstarter

ie pledge £20 get your name in the cast listing

pledge £30 get name t-shirt and listing

pledge £100 meet Nick Knowles and get the t-shirt etc
