The Vaccume/Ponytail Hack was misleading.

The guy who made the 3 ponytails by hand, wrapped the ponytail holder around twice to make it secure. That's why it took him longer.

The guy who did it with the vaccume just slid the ponytail holder off the vaccume hose without double wrapping it, so yea, he got all three Ponytails made in less time, but ALL THREE ponytails weren't secure! If those girls shook their heads back and forth even lightly, the ponytail holders would have flown right off. They were on too loose! You have to double wind them around the hair!

Double wrap the scrunchie before putting it on the vacuum hose. It's gonna snap pretty hard onto the girl's hair, so do it slowly and carefully.

It was based on how it looked after it was done, not how secure it was. When it comes to contests, you have to keep your mind on the wording, not so much on the logic behind it.

Better watch out, better start crying. Better hurry up, run and hide. Krampus is coming to town! >:)

YES!! I noticed this flaw the first time it was featured and was disappointed that this hack ended up making the top 10 in the new Hack Hall of Fame episode that aired this week. It's the doubling that takes the most time so even if you put the ponytail holder on with the vacuum and then doubled it by hand, the totally manual method would be quicker.
