I like the longer length! The first film was 89 minutes, but it really only clocked in at about 80 or so minutes of actual footage, the rest being credits. Glad to see there's a little more wiggle room with the plot here. I have decently high hopes for this film, with Flanagan directing and THE CHANGELING (1980) being his inspiration for the film.

shareIt's a true classic! There was word that Stiles White was inspired by it in the first Ouija, most notably the second seance scene in that film takes some visual cues from a seance scene in The Changeling, but beyond that I couldn't see it. However, it really looks like Mike Flanagan has been inspired quite a lot in a good way!
You should definitely check out The Changeling. It has aged quite a bit, and it's slow in parts, but it's a damn good ghost story.
