Please note, I haven't seen it yet and don't mean to sound stupid. But it's not classified as such but it's about the director posing as a taxi driver. Love it if someone could clear it up for me, really looking forward to watching it.

No, it's not a documentary, it's scripted (rather loosely, I suspect). It's made clear early on that the people who appear in it are acting. The term "docudrama" is perhaps appropriate.
