I give props to Jamie...

I do think Jamie has a good heart and is headed in the right direction, for a few reasons - 1. she's willing to admit that she can be selfish, and is willing to hear hard truths about herself and work on them, 2. she's willing to let people see her go through marriage, flaws and all.

The thing is, I can sometimes see myself in Jamie - wanting to do the right thing toward my partner and being blind to where I am doing harm. I am really thankful that she has enough courage to show a real marriage - both when it's good and when it's hard. I have learned a lot from both Jamie and Doug about marriage and men and women from watching this show.

I agree. Jamie gets a really hard time from a lot of people but she is just being real and honest, not fake. I don't watch the Bachelor so I didn't see her on there, but I genuinely feel like a lot of her issues come from past hurts and self-preservation, not simply from being superficial or not thinking Doug was instantly physically attractive. Doug and Jamie are real and believable, unlike Cortney and Jason, who are just not believable and likely too hung up on physical chemistry to really try to discern a true "falling in love" process.

I like both of the couples. I think I have learned a lot about my personality from both the women, as well. I can be a Jamie. Gotta get on that, it is so not attractive seeing it on screen! LOL

Except that "meeting the ex" crap. I don't know what she is trying to prove with THAT!
