I'm trying to do something nice for her and she doesn't trust me.

Um, Jason... you're SURPRISING her with a ring. She doesn't know you're doing something nice for her. She's trying to pay bills and thinks you're hiding money. Which, in reality, you are.

Then he has the audacity to say "I'm trying to do something nice for. You have to communicate in a relationship." LOL. Poor guys is delusional. He doesn't even see that his unwillingness to communicate is what is creating the whole money issue.

That said, They both fight like kids. Entirely unfair, and no communication whatsoever.

Maybe poker's just not your game, Ike. I know, let's have a spelling contest.

She has been nagging him for a ring for their whole marriage. He is TRYING to give her what she wants, and be at least somewhat romantic about it. I suppose he could tell her he's saving for her ring, and then she would probably complain about it not being a surprise.
On the next episode, she throws it down the drain! Are you effing kidding me?

I am convinced that every word is scripted. I figured situations were planned out, but this is just ridiculous.

This is where Jason screwed up. I know people that have a joint account and then each person has a separate account for "fun money". Jason could have done what he wants to do and kept it a surprise had they gone this route.

That is what he was trying to do.

It was Cortney that wanted the separate accounts dissolved and everything put into the joint account.

Courtney wanted the separate accounts dissolved because it's what they mutually agreed upon but only she was doing it.
