I'm sure the fire actually existed, but did they really have to show Cortney watching fake stock footage on TV? You could easily tell it was so fake. It was like watching the 1 hour fireplace "show" on Netflix. There is also no way a fire that large with that many firefighters allowing TV Cameras to be that close ON THE GROUND.

I'm not sure if the fire was real, it definitely wasn't a real broadcast, it looked Green screened, and there was no channel emblem and no scrolling footer or caption of the story. Totes fakes.

That WHOLE THING was contrived. I hate when they do that.
