Knowing Allen, it'll probably feature his trademarks:

- beautiful shots of cities

- talented but unhappy and unstable people

- a lot of banter

- sexual matters

- some sort of retro environment.

I say it'll be remisisent of Ingmar Bergman's "Scenes from a Marriage."

He has six episodes so I wouldn't mind seeing him using the six episodes rashomon style to tell his story.

reply

I would`nt be surprised if he makes six independent episodes, like different stories set on a city.

Based on the images seen so far and knowing Allen`s work, I`m gonna go out and say that it will be a about a love triangle between Cyrus, Brosnahan and Magano, with Allen and May either playing the final couple in present day (based on he clothes, which didn`t strike me as very 60´s) or the parents of some of the characters.

I wonder if this project means Woody Allen won't be able to make a movie for release in 2017?

If that's the case it means 2017 will be the first year without a Woody Allen theatrical release of some sort since 1981!!!!

There. It's on the Internet. Thus it's official

Wow, you're right. I hadn't even realized that I've been spoiled with a new Woody Allen film every year that I've been alive! Looks like 2017 will be no different since he already has a movie in the works. Looking forward to seeing his 2016 film, Cafe Society, Which comes out this week.

It's about a bunch of stroked out 80 year old geriatrics talking on and on until you want to put a nail in your head and try to remember when Allen was funny and how he used to say Bob Hope over stood his welcome in film. Wake up Woody. The hearse is coming for you
