Love it ... and apparently thanks to Amazon too for being persistent.

Crisis in Six Scenes is marvelous, so subversively clever.

It's cool to see Woody making a movie for Amazon.Com.

I think you should have your head examined for any number of reasons.

I think this series is a subversive and hilarious masterpiece. It questions the status quo of pretty much everything and I think that is the reason many people hate it. In this series Woody Allen does everything you are not supposed to do in a "TV" series in 2016: Two 80-year-olds play the lead characters, Miley Cyrus plays a leftist terrorist, the elderly ladies in the suburban book club quote Mao, Woody Allen's character attacks the government and the politicians on both sides (thinly veiled commentary on the current situation in the US), Black Panthers are applauded by middle class Jewish ladies, a psychiatric patient is encouraged to pay his wife for sex and on top of that you have Woody Allen jumping from roof top to roof top, trying to escape from the police. And as usual Woody Allen makes everything look easy and so people think he is not really trying. The opposite is true: It is hard work and Woody Allen is able to make it look easy, because he is so good at it.

You got it.

I got Amazon Prime mainly to see this, and for this series alone, it was worth it (almost). There's some very impressive programming on Amazon, and scoring Woody Allen was a real coup. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll be doing more for Amazon.

Me too. Loved it!

I thought that might be Miley Cyrus - had to check to be sure.

I have no pre-formed opinion about her, don't know her music, never saw her act in anything before.

Ignore all the Millennial Ritalin sniffers who hate Miley...Miley Cyrus is cute, sweet, and does a great job with this.

Kay: “Chairman Mao say, ‘Death certain, life unpredictable.’” Sidney: “She got that from Charlie Chan.”

This may not be Allens greatest work, but at 80 years old I'm happy to see anything from him.

Yeah, she seems OK. I don't care for her overly sexual innuendos, her music, her videos or her political statements, but she is an OK character actress and to each their own.

Ditto bruce-129. I thought it was great too, with a lot of funny lines, mostly by Woody but also Elaine May. And I loved the parts showing the book club of old biddies turning into Mao and Che-loving revolutionaries.
