Unless it shows them beating raping passing around and forcing women and little girls into prostitution, then its unrealistic cause that's what they do

Well, this has to be realistic because this really happened. Everything we watched is true moment to moment, based off Charles going undercover . this mini series has just hired actors to re create Charles experience. He obvs cant show his real face or he will be a goner. Each gang is violent and crazy, but they do differ.

I really hope you didnt make the statements about the little girls and women being passed around because its what happened to you or a loved one. I cant even imagine.I have heard horrible thiings these gangs get into. If by chance you are speaking from experiences, I hope you were able to get the authorities involved or any kind of help. My ex's brother is in jail right now bc of a guy like charles from the show.He was trying to get initiated into a bike gang and they taped them getting instructions to murder someone and he was scared shiiiiizless and was relieved they all got busted because he didnt know how to say no to murdering someone without getting his own head wacked off. severing ties is kinda hard even after you become a wanna be or whatever they call it. They were recorded and got them conspiracy for murder. this shows me anyone can get wrapped into it during desperate times because the guy I know, is a REALLY great man, like a brother ....then he fell into a dark place. in jail now. Hard lesson.. thank goodness for people like Charles!

As far as biker gang portrayals go, this is as accurate as TV is going to allow. And as another poster commented the gangs rules, crimes and dirty business varies by group, state, city and sometime gang charters.

What you've stated is an ugly truth for some biker gangs, but all biker gangs, gangs being the key word or criminal organizations.

But some MC's are just that...motorcycle club.

what she said is unfortunately, very true.
one of my friend's in high school, her father was in the pagans. she recounted a few stories to me of when she got passed around and molested/raped in a room full of the bikers, and her father/mother did nothing about it. (when she was a little girl)
her father was also pretty abusive physically as well, mother was M.I.A.; probably due to the father and/or drugs.

don't think that it was an isolated incident of her family life though, given that it happened when she ended up at some of the biker parties one way or another; regardless of whether her parents were in the room or not. seems like from what they told me it was sort of just what happened with the gangs if you were around them and were a girl...

i like the show but when i started watching, i was surprised that they ahh, were showing so much consensual sex. although schizo was very rapacious in the last episode with suzanna, which is probably more indicative of the reality of how the gangs treat women/girls

Sorry, but very unrealistic that the fake Lompoc story couldn't be checked out in short order by through an affiliate contact in prison. "Based on true events" has little or no meaning these days. Hopefully the rat is killed.

"Based on true events" has always had little or no meaning in TV or movies.

I'd think that each chapter would keep record of who was in which prison at which time and share that info amongst all other chapters who would then would trickle that info down to the guys who are incarcerated so that they know who else is in that prison with them. Even if they're in separate units and never see each other.
