Awful, but also, strange discrepancies in the publicity stuff.

This film is pretty damn awful, which is disappointing because I was really excited when I started watching it and Troy Baker showed up.

Litlte thing that I find odd, though it doesn't really have any impact on my outlook of the film, strange how the poster contains ships that don't look like the ones in the film and very prominently feature a female character where the film discards it's female cast extremely quickly.
I wouldn't have thought more of it but then the imdb cast page does the same thing and highlights an actor thats scarcely in the film to disregard all the others.
If they'd got some famous perosn to aggree to a small part I'd understand but it's just some unknown.

I've noticed a lot of this stuff recently out of these kind of horror films.
Posters and covers that don't represent the actual contents of the film accurately.
Most films do it to some degree but a lot of these just seem like they were designed by somebody who hasn't seen the film.
Same for that crappy dinosaur found footage film that came out a few months back.

p.s: could not stop thinking about the lights disappearing after the shot where theyre all stood looking at them.

This occurs with zombie films and lots of other low budget films. I think some make-a-quick-buck distributor buys them up cheap from the generally independent producers who make them, then hire a pretty good firm to design the cover to make it have enough eye appeal to sell or rent. The quick buck is made and that's all they care about. Some just make things look better than in the film but others totally misrepresent the film.
