Is Kate Bosworth broke? She must be to be in this movie. Going the Nick Cage route and agreeing to any script that comes across her agents desk for a paycheck.

The director is her husband. That's why she is doing the movie.

Actually no one made any profit off of this movie, all the proceeds and salaries were donated to various charities. Which if you're Don Piper you can do considering he's made millions upon millions on public appearances and slinging his "true story".
