Don spends most of the movie moaning, whining and complaining even while those around him try to save his life, and try to save his arm and leg so he can make a full recovery. Why does Eva stick around?

Also the lawyer is absolutely retarded. How could he not know about the cap of 250k that would go to the insurance company prior to taking the case??

Walk a mile in Don's shoes before you judge. We have no idea what his suffering was like.

His wife stuck by his because that is what married people are supposed to do.

How dare you call this man a loser. Be careful what you call God's anointed.

To be fair, in his book, he whines for most of it too. You want to slap him many times before he comes around eventually.
