Despite your personal opinion on his acting abilities, there are other people who want to see him in movies. Could it be there are more of those people than you know? He still has worldwide recognition and fans all over the world.

He was very good in the teen drama tv series Higher Ground too, as a boy being abused by his stepmother.

His career has hit the skids if he's been forced to do this Christian movie. He's now in the same category as Kevin Sorbo, Dean Cain and the Duck Dynasty family. 
