Compared to Darling?

Hey guys,

I've only seen one Keating movie, which was Darling, and I loved it. However, from what I've seen that movie's lack of dialogue gives it the opportunity to stand strong on its direction alone, keeping it from being spoiled by poor writing.
Anyone else seen and enjoyed Darling with an opinion to share about Carnage Park?

Darling is an absolute masterpiece, the attention to detail cannot be questioned. I did full reviews for both Darling and Carnage Park at www.adamthemoviegod.com and I'd love to know what you think. CP is also fantastic in its own right but it helps if you understand Keatings intent behind these screenplays built on atmosphere :)

I agree that both films are different from each other but that is not a minus. "Darling" exists in world all it's own. Lauren Ashley Carter is a treasure and brings Darling to life as no one else I can imagine could. That she wasn't in CP is a surprise since she has made several films with Keating. I could easily see her playing Vivian (though Ashley Bell does a great job).

"Darling" is one of a kind. Maybe Keating's best film to date.

"Carnage Park" also exists in it's own universe; but one that could be in line with ours. The vastness of the Midwest could be full of places like the one depicted and characters like Wyatt Moss far more common than we'd like to believe.

Hard really to compare the two as they are very different from each other. Another testament to the talent of Mickey Keating.
