This Director

I've only seen Darling and Carnage Park, but it seems as though the writer/director has all these brilliant idea and then tries to make them like movies he's seen before. His lack of ability to write dialogue and ridiculous endings, almost ruin the movies. That being said, he does have a way of getting some incredible acting performance out of his lead women, without giving them much to work with. I am not trying to bash him, because the promise is there and I did enjoy both films, but he needs to find a way to differentiate himself from the pack. The QT references and influences are too strong and will hold him back. I was told to see POD, but warned the end is also a bit rough.
