MAYBE try carpooling?? So they don't see 3 or 4 cars approaching??

Ok, great show, but I saw the one where Rachel from the FLDS is trying to make contact with her sister Teresa. And they all drive up down this long back road, where there's a giant tower where the FLDS can see who's coming. And they're all like "we don't wanna look suspicious". Ok idiots, then MAYBE, just maybe, try friggin carpooling?! So they don't see all the cars come up. There was only like 6 of them. And maybe a camera guy or 2. WHY the F did they need like 3 cars?? They could have all squeezed into an SUV or something. Just dumb. Of course they're gonna notice that way. Dummies.

Also, same episode, Rachel Jeff's fiancé carrying a loaded gun onto the compound is just plain stupid! Even if he does has a license, he admits to being angry. Besides the moral issue (and ramifications) of possibly killing someone, they're also trespassing. And conceivably, if the sister leaves with them but later returns, they could even be charged with kidnapping. There probably is a need for some kind of protection, but make it non-lethal. What a terrible irony if they were the ones to wind up in prison.

They couldn't be charged with kidnapping. She would be with them voluntarily and the videos make that very clear. It may not be trespassing if the property isn't marked no trespassing and they have not otherwise been told they are trespassing.

He had the gun because the FLDS is armed. I'm not a gun fan, but I can see why he would bring it.

They do that for a reason. It's so the security guys can do a distraction move and block someone going after the girls. Otherwise, they do carpool.
