John Henry Irons/Steel?

I'm not sure of the continuity with these films. THRONE OF ATLANTIS is apparently a sequel to WAR, but what about this one? A stand alone, or yet another sequel based on the New 52?

John Henry Irons was introduced briefly in THRONE OF ATLANTIS, and it could be nice to see him brought in as "Steel". Just to have someone different for a change. I know STEEL (1997) is often considered one of the worst superhero movies ever, but we shouldn't let Shaq poison the character forever, just like HOWARD THE DUCK (1986) shouldn't do the same for him. He did cameo in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, but I'd like to see him have a bigger role in the sequel, though I won't hold my breath for his own reboot film. And the same goes for DC's John Henry Irons.

stand alone.

an article I found elsewhere, (spacing on source, sorry) states that the 'Trinity' of Gods and Monsters is
-- the Son of Zod as Superman
-- Kirk 'ManBat' Langstrom as Vampiric Batman
-- one of the Female New Gods/wife of Orion as Wonder Woman
(the story was vague enough on this point that it 'could' be Diana in an arranged marriage... but seeing as how 'non-Canon' the other 2 are I doubt this WW has any affiliation with Themiscyra/Paradise Island and the Amazons)
