Justice League Gods and Monsters follow up?

Should there be a follow up to Gods and Monsters? And which character would you like to see in the follow up. Here are my three pics

Flash

Green Lantern

Hawkgirl

I don't know about another movie, but the Gods and Monsters Chronicles shorts are getting a second season.

No sequel planned for the movie (as yet - DVD sales can always change that, though it'd be about two years away at this point) but the Chronicles series on Machinima is getting a second season that will be ten episodes long and introduce Green Lantern (an extraterrestrial instead of an Earthman), Steel (a combo of Commander Steel and the John Henry Irons version), and Mary Marvel (who looks like Pam Grier as a member of the Marvel Family). Ten episodes at six minutes apiece comes out to a sequel's worth of content.

Mary Marvel with Pam Grier's 'Fro is like giving Superman a crew cut or a mullet. . I think the artist should rethink Mary Marvell's look . There are a variety of hair styles out there especially in the African American community that would suit her better. Hair styles worn today such as braids (which by the way is one of the oldest hair styles date back at least 5000 years.) There also are the locks , dread and twist. You will not see a lot of AfricanAmericans wearing Afros today. No more than your see European American's wearing those awful mullets, crewcuts , french rolls and other dated hairstyles of the past!

Friend, I think that's rather the point - that she's as much a throwback to 70's blaxploitation as the Marvel Family has been (depending on era and writer) to Golden Age of Comics gee-whiz wholesomeness.

OK I'll buy that!

I'll check out their take on Green Lantern, Steel and Mary Marvel when it comes out in 2016. But I hope they can do something with Flash, Cat-Woman, Aqua-Man, Cyborg, Hawk-Man and Hawk-Girl, including Captain Marvel and Martain Man hunter.

My brother and I discussed this last night. We'd love a sequel set on Apocalypse, and involving the Highfather. Maybe add some new heroes and villains. My brother mentioned wanting Bruce Wayne to be more like the traditional Lex Luthor. I'd like to see the evil Hal Jordan/Parallax Green Lantern.

Heck, maybe Bruce Wayne is the Mayor, or Governor of the state in which Gotham City is located (New Jersey?). Or maybe Bruce died with his parents.

Anything's possible in this new universe. An evil Bruce Wayne, and a heroic Joker might be interesting.

I think the rule here would be that the Joker would still be a clown prince of crime but he might be a fairly non-violent gentleman thief for the poor and is circus acrobat Dick Grayson.

And Bruce Wayne might have become wheelchairbound by a bullet as a boy and became the hacker called Oracle.

I imagined more of an evil Bruce Wayne. Maybe someone who actually had his parents murdered so he could take the company. Just the complete opposite of the usual depiction. Like with the Joker being a hero as opposed to a villain.

A sequel would also allow the evil Hal Jordan/Parallax to appear, seeing is he's unlikely to appear in any other film or TV series.

It's possible but I don't think we'd get an evil Bruce Wayne AND a heroic Joker since that's not quite how this parallell universe seems to work. In this universe Will Magnus was insane but has been in the regular comics too.

That's kind of Owlman and the Jokester/Jester you're describing.

I guess an evil Bruce Wayne could be the Red Hood.

As much as I loved this movie I also like how self contained and complete it felt. I'd be very nervous about a follow up set in the same universe. I feel the same way about New Frontier. And I mean, look at how bad the follow up to The Dark Knight Returns was (that's in comic books only, thank god.)

We will probably have to wait for a sequel to Gods and Monsters in their animated line up movies for 2017 or 2018 I'm guessing.

I don't think there'd been anything wrong with a sequel. I have more faith in Alan Burnett and Bruce Timm than I do in Frank Miller.
