Oh great, another Batman origins story
And it's even more boring than the same one we've seen retold countless times in the last 30 years.
shareAnd it's even more boring than the same one we've seen retold countless times in the last 30 years.
shareActually origin of man-bat really. Just calls himself batman because Bruce Wayne was busy being filthy rich, presumably, with his parents so the catchier name was open.
This isn't Bruce Wayne.
shareAnd hence not really Bat-Man either...There's really only one Batman, and that's Bruce Wayne...I could accept a Dick Grayson, Terry McGinnis or Damien Wayne as they were all trained by Bruce, but this character isn't even Bruce related.
shareHe is related to the Batman. Remember Man-bat?
shareNot the same as his son, ward or any other protegee.
shareSo what if it's not Bruce Wayne? There are dozens of elseworlds stories out there, where another character is taking the mantle of Batman and most of them are quite good. This is taking place in an alternate universe, take it easier, be open minded. Variety is good.
shareAnd Superman isn't Kal El, Wonder Woman not Diana.

Lincoln Lee: I lost a partner.
Peter Bishop: I lost a universe!
KUrt Langstrom is the Batman here (Man-Bat in the "regular" DC Universe). But, if he was a vampire, shouldn't he have cast no reflection in the mirror when he looked up after the first draining of a victim?
shareBut, if he was a vampire, shouldn't he have cast no reflection in the mirror when he looked up after the first draining of a victim?Langstrom is not a supernatural vampire. His image is reflected in mirrors and crosses would not affect him.
There are thousands of variations of vampires in fiction
shareYeah and the defence against this Batman would be garlic guns *roll eyes*
