Oversexualized

While far from being the best Batman animated movie, I've found the movie pretty enjoyable, but something really bothered me: why all female characters in this had to be so oversexualized? I mean even Bruce's mother, in a supposedly warm family moment had to look sexy. It adds absolutely nothing to the plot or even just to the overall atmosphere...

I'm not one to say that every single story has to have at least one female main character, but here it reduces even more their role as not being more than pretty objects.
